- Nothing to everything- the reading project

"No sir...its time consuming....exams are approaching .........I won't be able to do it" I remember having told Mujib sir when he briefed me about this project. But alas!!!! I hadn't known at that time that it would be this interesting.
We started our work by surveying and interviewing students and teachers. Nothing seemed to be tough as we had a great deal of cooperation from librarian sir. Shwetha Sasidharan and I had been the coordinators of this project- and we knew nothing in Information Technology - but as I've mentioned in the title, it turned from nothing to everything (though not completely everything).
Everyday after reaching the school, we would rush to the library for work. It was one such day that we had to interview our Principal madam. We were really scared. I can say that this is what most of you would expect. But we were not. We were totally cool as Principal madam is really a friendly person. She answered all our questions with enthusiasm. I really enjoyed every bit of it except for the times when computers really posed problems( even that was because of my mistake- not to blame the poor thing).
Analysing the results of the survey gave us unexpected results from the most unexpected persons. It was fun to explore the hearts of the respondents. Posting reviews on the blog is one thing that I love the most. For that I had to read books.  This reading project came out successful due to many competitions conducted in our library and also due to the system of library points that Mujib sir has introduced in our library. There is a kind of magnetic attraction in the library and all children are drawn towards it.
I loved being a part of this project and I hope I'll have more opportunities to take part in other Readers club activities.........
